Position Summary
The Account Executive’s primary objective is to aid and develop business consistent with the agency’s strategic plans and service accounts as designated.

Core Responsibilities
• Provide quotes on commercial and high-value personal accounts and other targeted business.
• Service accounts as needed and conduct annual renewal review.
• Prepare monthly production reports for submission and review with Assistant Managing Director.
• Agree on strategies and targets with Assistant Managing Director.
• Negotiate terms with overseas brokers on new business and renewals.
• Assist Management in overall rating strategy as a part of the renewal process and new business acquisition.
• Handle renewal retention negotiations with clients.
• Provide underwriting guidance as required.
• Complete renewal reviews where necessary.
• Assist the Customer Accounts Centre with receivable matters as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field
• At least five years of account management experience (Commercial Lines preferred)
• Diploma in Insurance (or proof of intended completion within 12 months)
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Detailed-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent customer service skills
• Driven
