Customer Service Representative

Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service within the Business Support Unit.

Core Responsibilities

  • Contact clients on renewals and respond to client requests and queries regarding their accounts and other related services.
  • Liaise with team members on the mailing of policy documents for renewals.
  • Prepare correspondence inclusive of renewal notices, reduction in motor cover, and endorsements for mailing.
  • Assist with the monthly renewal review process.
  • Liaise with the Customer Accounts team regarding any account-related matters, including cancellation letters.
  • Contact clients for renewal instructions and advise CSRs and Producers as necessary.
  • Liaise with Producers regarding risk improvement requirements and recommendations.
  • Respond to confirmation of cover requests from Mortgage institutions.
  • Liaise with respective team members regarding any renewal processing if policies are not renewed.
  • Responsible for mailing renewal notices and documents to all clearinghouse banks in accordance with procedures.

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s degree in Business Management or related field
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to navigate internet-based applications and programs
